Right now we can be knocked for six by what’s going on globally, plus the endless news, the emotional winds whirling around us, the rumours - what’s true and what’s not. If ever we need to be discerning on how we live, what we take in and what we don't, how we eat and drink and stay with-it, this is the time.

I'm going to write about what I love and what works for me and hope that some of it might appeal to you or inspire you in some way.

The essence of daily balance, grounding, surviving and thriving for me is about meditation. Having a regular practice is about SO MANY things that work and are great for us that it’s surprising more of us don’t do it without hesitation.

However, it’s still one of the most challenging things we think we “ought” to do but don’t. I speak to clients who really want to meditate, and still don’t. In fact, I need to ‘fess up at this point and say that it also took me years to connect the dots and make the effort to tune in, it all used to seem like too much "work".

I’m going to talk about a couple of aspects of meditation that are wonderful, and look at ways you can practice yourself that may be helpful.
